Review: Her Royal Spyness
Her Royal Spyness by Rhys Bowen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This was one of the most fantastic historical mysteries that I have read in a while. I honestly could not put it down. The main character, Georgie, is an extremely likable heroine. I liked the author’s decision to write in the first person, which made each scene very vivid and intriguing. I got to see the inner workings of her mind, as she searched to unravel the mystery. I would highly recommend this book, and I can hardly wait to start book #2, A Royal Pain.

Review: When Gods Die: A Sebastian St. Cyr Mystery
When Gods Die: A Sebastian St. Cyr Mystery by C.S. Harris
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was a great sequel to What Angels Fear. Although I felt that the end was a little less climatic than its predecessor, it was nonetheless very engaging. I am on my way to the third book, Why Mermaids Sing. C.S. Harris is proving herself to be one of my most favorite authors.
